The language is clear and accessible, but there is no referencing or evidence linked to the discussion points. However, I think the balance is generally good on making sure people understand the positive and negative attitudes towards GM tech. BUT they do not emphasise that most scientists do not think GM is going to be harmful for onward food consumption.
